Michael holds the position of manager with Lazar Lipton Valuation Services, a division of ParenteBeard. Michael focuses on complex valuation engagements, including cases relating to private equity and hedge firms, financial advisory firms, consulting and other professional service firms, and transaction-related engagements. Prior to joining Lazar Lipton Valuation Services, he was a manager at a research company where he performed valuation services and complex securities analyses. His responsibilities included the development of analytical models, financial and economic research, data analysis, and the preparation of reports. Michael also worked at a proprietary trading firm, where he analyzed the risk profile of securities portfolios and tracked the performance of hundreds of hedge funds.
Michael holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, from Haverford College, with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Economics. He has passed parts I, II, and III of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) exams and is a candidate for membership.
