Jean brings more than thirteen years of experience to her position with Lazar Lipton. Her areas of expertise include valuation, litigation and tax services. Jean also provides forensic accounting and related consulting services to attorneys and clients, with an emphasis on matrimonial cases and business disputes. She began her career as an auditor at a larger international accounting firm in New York City, where she received her audit training in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Lazar Lipton Valuation Services, she was a senior manager at a firm where she performed valuation and consulting services in connection with complex tax, matrimonial, corporate and commercial litigation.
Jean received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from New York University and a Juris Doctorate degree from Brooklyn Law School. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in New York State and holds the Accreditation in Business Valuation (ABV) and is Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF). She is also a licensed attorney in New York and New Jersey.
